A cluster is:

an association between businesses and associated partners, who share similar economic initiatives and implement the initiatives of the cluster;

implementation of joint activities and development of long-term cooperation, which is targeted towards improving the competitiveness and profitability of the companies belonging to the cluster;

closer networking of companies – cooperation in the field of technology innovation.

Cluster development programme is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Objectives of the cluster development grant are:

· to increase the added value of the companies and the turnover of new products-services and exports;

· to promote cooperation between the companies of the same and different sectors and between companies and research establishments.
