Estonian Wind Power Cluster is launched by Estonian Wind Power Association and is co-funded by Enterprise Estonia (EAS) from European Regional Development Fund’s cluster program and also from Tallinn City Enterprise Board.

The wind power cluster has committed to the development of a development strategy for the Estonian wind power industry sector and enabling its partners to participate in international energy production and technology cooperation projects.

Implementation of the 2010-2015 strategy of the cluster contributes directly to the realisation of the objectives related to renewable power engineering and energy conservation set in the national energy management development plan to 2020.

The umbrella organisation of the cluster is the Estonian Wind Power Association and its partners include companies in metal, IT as well as wind energy development and electricity production, as well as educational and research institutions. Estonian Wind Power Cluster is also active in the international industry networks.
